A disciple is a follower of Jesus who has availed himself to be trained to be like the Master (Luke 6:40). As such, he is a student of the Word of God who has learnt the BASICS of the Christian faith and practises them.
Thirty-One-Day Discipleship Lessons are designed with this objective in mind. A disciple must know who God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are; who Satan, Angels and the Church are; how to be saved and maintain salvation; how to grow in Christ and become like Him; how to worship and serve Him and many more.
It is when we are well-established and rooted in Him that we can stand when difficult times confront us. Then, we can say with Paul: “We are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed, perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9).
Let us, therefore, take time off our busy schedules and study to become approved of God, rightly dividing the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
The Answer Section is provided only as a guide and also to help you not to stray away from the main thought of each lesson. May the Holy Spirit be your guide.
We may begin each lesson with the prayer: “Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law” (Psalm 119:18).
A rich blessing of the Lord awaits you. Come along and let us study.
